Kuiper en Zonen supports WWF research station

Kuiper en Zonen contributed to the installation of solar panels at a WWF research station in the deepest jungle of Borneo. For this, they used a diesel generator at this station to provide it with electricity. Due to the solar panels, the environmentally polluting generator is no longer necessary.

The project was realized in the Sebangau National Park in Borneo. Due to intensive logging and forest fires, this area is now protected as a national park. This is where the largest population of orangutans in the world is located. In collaboration with Eneco, WWF is doing everything it can to protect these orangutans.

A new station has been built even deeper in the jungle for management and research. It is now also equipped with solar panels. We as Kuiper en Zonen are happy that we could contribute to this project.
